CHARACTERISTIC

Pinus have tall about 10 – 40 meters. Have leaf like needle. Have Strobilus to reproduction. The roots are tunggang. Have upright, cylinder stem. The Pinus Diameters is about 60-80 cm of width. Young tree tajuk like pyramid after old more flat and spring.Young tree skin is gray, after old the skin is dark color. The seed is thin like egg circular about 6 - 7 mm long, have wing and easy to put off. Male flower is about 2 cm long, in base of young tunas. Female flower is in end of young tunas. Pinus Have cone fruit is about 7 - 10 cm long.

HABITAT

In land about 23^OLU - 2^OLS and about 30 - 1.800 m dpl of height, in more soil types and climates. The rain range about 50 – 3800 mm per year and average temperature per year about 19^o – 28^oC.
